5 Days in Bali Temple & Beach Trip
Five days in Bali balances spiritual discovery with tropical relaxation. This itinerary moves from cultural Ubud to blissful beaches, capturing the essence of the Island of the Gods.
Days 1-2: Ubud & Surroundings
Day 1
Arrive in Bali and transfer to Ubud (about 90 minutes from airport). Afternoon at leisure exploring Ubud's center - the Royal Palace, art markets, and cafe scene. Evening traditional dance performance at the palace or Pura Saraswati temple.
Day 2
Early morning at Tegallalang Rice Terraces before crowds arrive. The iconic carved landscape offers photo opportunities and short walks through working paddies.
Afternoon choices: Monkey Forest (sacred temple with cheeky macaques), Tirta Empul water temple purification experience, or art galleries and museums showcasing Balinese traditions.
Sunset yoga session or spa treatment using traditional Balinese techniques. Dinner at a romantic rice field restaurant.
Day 3: Temple Circuit
Full day exploring Bali's spiritual heart with a private driver (easily arranged through hotels).
Morning
Sunrise at Pura Lempuyang (Gates of Heaven) - arrive early to beat photo lines. Continue to Tirta Gangga water palace with its ornamental pools and fountains.
Afternoon
Stop at a local warung for nasi campur lunch. Visit Besakih, Bali's mother temple on Mount Agung's slopes - largest and holiest temple complex.
Evening
Transfer to beach area (Seminyak for nightlife, Sanur for calm, Uluwatu for surf vibes). Sunset dinner at a beachfront restaurant.
Days 4-5: Beach Time
Day 4
Beach morning: swimming, surfing lessons, or simply lounging. Afternoon at a beach club (Potato Head in Seminyak, Single Fin in Uluwatu) for pools, DJs, and sunset cocktails.
Evening: Uluwatu Temple kecak fire dance performance as the sun sets into the ocean. Seafood dinner at nearby Jimbaran Bay - grilled fish on the beach.
Day 5
